Pet
Sketch is created by me, Steven Patrick Sim,
a traditional pet portrait artist and graphic designer based
in
Scotland in the UK.
I
like to think I don't take myself too seriously which
helps me enjoy the creation process of each and every
job I work on. This helps me to give you a beautiful pet
sketch portrait - at an affordable price.
Having been a graphic designer for 11 years, and more
recently a traditional media pet portrait artist for the
last 7, I created Pet Sketch so I could combine all my
experience, and work at sketching and painting pet portraits
using 'virtual media' - this is sophisticated art creation
software, working by hand with a tablet and stylus.
This is not such an unusual idea! The same creation process
and input is required for me to create your pet sketch
portrait as when I work with traditional media. This includes
the initial sketching and composition, shading, then adding
colour, details and highlights! (Check out the animated
demo on the home page). The end
result is finally printed on quality textured fine art
giclée paper, with archival inks, then protected
against fading with a anti UV matte spray.
As I mentioned earlier, this means I can offer you a beautiful
portrait, at a really affordable price!
