This
is an example of a good photo to work with:
The
subject fills the photograph, has good lighting, and
when zooming in the detail stays sharp and consistent.
This is an excellent image to create a pet sketch portrait.
This is an example of an acceptable
photo to work with:
This
photo is acceptable because on zooming in there is still
some details in the focal area, also the subject's head
fills a large area of the photo. However, it lacks sharpness
and is pixelated, as well as having bad lighting.
Please see if you can find a sharper photo with better
lighting for me to create your ideal pet sketch portrait.
This is not a good photo to work
from:
This
photo seems fine when viewed at a distance but when
looked at more closely it looks blurred. Also, notice
that the lighting and composition is not so good (the
head is cropped off the edge of the photo).
The picture possibly would have been useable at a much
higher resolution so please check that your digital
camera is on the highest quality setting so that you
can take the ideal shot.
Photos taken from a camera phone tend to be in this
category and are not recommended. Remember - the larger
the photo the better! If it's too large to email you
can send it to me by post (copied on to a CD). Alternatively,
I can use a photographic print which you can also post
to me. Click here for my
postal address.
